- Account information: name, email address, and password or OAuth sign-in details.
- Resume and career data: employment history, education, skills, certifications, and uploaded or entered content.
- Job descriptions: text you paste or provide to tailor your documents.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Communications: messages you send through contact forms or email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, generated documents, and timestamps.
- Device data: browser type, operating system, and IP address.

3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide resume building, tailoring, cover letter, and document export features.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send transactional emails such as receipts and password resets.
- To prevent fraud, secure accounts, debug issues, and improve service reliability.
- To send product updates or newsletters when you have opted in.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your resume content, employment history, or generated documents to train AI models. Your career data is used to provide the features you request.
4. AI Processing
We use Anthropic's Claude API to parse resumes and generate documents. When you submit content for processing, relevant text is sent to Anthropic's API and handled under Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only as needed with service providers that help operate the product:
- Supabase for database and file storage.
- Anthropic for AI document processing.
- Stripe for payment processing.
- AWS for infrastructure hosting.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: retained until you delete your account.
- Documents: retained until you delete them or your account.
- Usage logs: retained for service operation and then anonymized.
- Billing records: retained as required for legal and tax purposes.
7. Security
We use security practices such as encrypted transport, encrypted storage, database access controls, and administrative safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
